Anatomy 01/04
Carbon fibre pressed under heat until no two cases share the same grain. Lighter than titanium, warm on the wrist, and impossible to copy.
A hinged lever presses the crown shut against the case. Pressure from a breaking wave cannot open it. Only your thumb can.
Two plates. The numerals are cut through the top one, and the lower plate is coated in blue Super-LumiNova, so the light sits under the surface.
An automatic movement finished by hand in our Bree Street workshop. Three days of power, so it is still running on Monday.

In the dark
Below thirty metres the colour goes out of the sea. The Atlantic 44 keeps going: every numeral and every hand lit from beneath, readable for eight hours after a single minute of daylight.

Material
Each case starts as a block of carbon strands and resin. Under 300 bar and 120 °C the strands fold into a marbled grain that belongs to your watch alone. We engrave its number on the caseback.
